Biography

Charles P. Vaughn has over thirty years of experience as a criminal defense and family law attorney. Mr. Vaughn handles misdemeanor, felony, and capital felony cases, and he is a death-qualified attorney for capital cases. He also handles wills and all matters of family law, including: adoption, divorce, spousal support, premarital agreements, paternity, child custody, visitation, and child support. Since 1987, Mr. Vaughn has represented and advised individuals throughout Central Florida in Citrus, Sumter, Lake, Hernando, and Marion County. Mr. Vaughn represents clients at all levels of the Florida state and federal court system.

Mr. Vaughn is an experienced criminal defense attorney and previously served as a Citrus County Public Defender. Mr. Vaughn is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL), serves on the Board of Directors, and is Chairman of the Indigent Defense Committee, as well as President of the Suncoast Chapter of FACDL.
